Terms of Use
Last updated: 8 October 2026
These terms apply to the DailyClassical app and the services behind it (together, “DailyClassical”). By using DailyClassical you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
The service
DailyClassical offers one classical work a day with a listening guide, a paired painting and related material such as a glossary and composer notes. Some content is free; the full library is available with Premium. We may add, change or remove content and features over time.
DailyClassical does not stream music. Recordings are played in Spotify or another service you choose, under that service’s own terms.
Your account
You can use DailyClassical without an account. An account lets you keep favourites across devices. When you create one:
- give an email address you can access, and confirm it;
- keep your password secret and tell us if you think someone else has used your account;
- you are responsible for activity under your account.
You can delete your account at any time in the app (Settings › Account › Delete account).
Premium and payments
Premium is sold through Apple’s App Store and is subject to Apple’s terms and payment processing. Prices are shown in the app before you buy.
- Monthly subscription: may start with a free trial (3 days); if you don’t cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, the subscription begins and is charged. It renews automatically each month at the price shown, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Payment is charged to your Apple ID. You can manage or cancel the subscription in your Apple ID settings; cancelling stops the next renewal, and access continues until the end of the period you have paid for.
- Lifetime: a one-time purchase that unlocks Premium without a subscription.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies. We cannot issue refunds for App Store purchases ourselves.
- Restore purchases in Settings re-activates Premium on a device signed in with the same Apple ID.
We may also grant Premium to an account (for example to testers or reviewers). Such access may be time-limited.
Content and intellectual property
The listening guides, texts, selections, design and software of DailyClassical are protected by copyright and belong to us or our licensors. You may use them for your own personal, non-commercial enjoyment. You may not copy, republish, sell or redistribute them, or use them to train or build other products, without our written permission.
The paintings shown in the app are in the public domain or used under the licences credited in the app. Composer portraits and other images are credited the same way. Recording, artist and label names are given for information; they belong to their respective owners. Spotify is a trademark of Spotify AB; DailyClassical is not affiliated with or endorsed by Spotify.
Acceptable use
Please do not:
- try to access content or features you have not unlocked, or get around technical limits;
- copy or harvest content in bulk, for example by scraping our servers;
- reverse engineer the app except where the law allows it;
- interfere with the service, overload it or attempt automated sign-ins;
- use DailyClassical in a way that breaks the law or the rights of others.
We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.
Availability and accuracy
We work to keep DailyClassical available and accurate, but we provide it “as is” and cannot promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. Listening-stop times are approximate and refer to the reference recording named in each guide; other recordings may differ.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses caused by events outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer.
Apple
The app is licensed to you under Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula), together with these terms. If they conflict, these terms apply to the extent the EULA allows. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content, and has no obligation to provide support for it.
Changes and ending
We may update these terms. If the changes are significant, we will let you know in the app before they take effect. You may stop using DailyClassical at any time.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. This does not take away any mandatory consumer protections of the country where you live.
